Any other requirements? Blade length, weight, common uses, etc. My personal favourite edc is the Benchmade Emissary.

Well we will need a bit more info What will it be used for? Do you like plain edge? Partially serrated? Black blades...ect

Good point prefer 3.5-4inch blade a tight lockup with no play and weight isn't really an issue

I'm looking seriously at the Hogue EX-01 folder in 154CM steel with polished edges. Made in the USA. Range: $150-$200.

You may want to check them out on youtube.

Bradley Alias 1 is a nice one for EDC(similar to a Large Sebenza in size and looks). Would be great for all around EDC.

As mentioned before ZT carries some nice knives in your price range. However these are specifically made for harder use and may be a little much for EDC to some.

If you like the beefier knives, I really like the feel of the DPX HEST. Awesome steel, feels great in the hand, fits like a glove, nice option to lock it open, strong, thick but a good slicer, and really a good knife in my opinion.

It all really depends on your preferences.

ZT's are mighty nice for their price change, I'm a benchmade guy though and they have lots of knives to choose from within your budget. The axis is strong and most knives with them have little to no play whatsoever. Given from what your looking for...many knives are available. One knife that came to my mind was this.

The DPX HEST is a good one. Nice solid knife. Can be waved open. Roto Lock is awesome. The Southern Grind is a great one if you like liner locks. Big knife but very light because of the Ti liners and carbon fiber. Sandvik steel is also wonderful. I just traded for a Boker Epicenter and I am very impressed so far. Nice Ti frame lock with a big VG10 blade. Very appealing knife visually as well. All for +/- $130. Great knife so far.
