If you might recall, my step son took his life about two years ago. As way of trying to pull something good from a senseless and tragic event, we're sponsoring a fund-raiser in a couple weeks at a local Mexican restaurant ...

It's been a brutal and rough road for the family, but this is one way for us to get through.

Our family experienced this in 2002. The pain never really goes away.

My very dearest friend committed suicide. She is on the SPEA cover over here in Ohio this year. It's been five painful years.I was a server at a restaurant. She would come in everyday. On Thursdays she would bring me pint of Sherbet ice cream since she worked at an ice cream store. One Friday I got a call that she died that Thursday night. I was devastated. It took three years just to go to the grave. I can't write anymore right now.
