Suitability of Maxpedition Pouches for GPS?

I was wondering if anyone was using the Maxpedition pouches like the CP-S or maybe the M-2 attached to a backpack strap for carrying a GPS?

If so, how well does it work, what pouch and what GPS? Other comments or pointers?

Their standard radio carrier works very well. It leaves a lot of open spaces up top for the antenna to have access to satellites. Also, remember to reverse the cord-lock for the retaining cord so you don't lose your GPS.
