Hi

Just a few questions for you well informed guys from a newbie if you don't mind.

I'm in the market for a new dive knife to replace my current secondary cutting tool with i generally go through a few cheapies but i can think of nothing more effective than a serrated syderco to trust my life with. I've looked through the current catalogue and only the rescue & rescue jnr catches my eye but this seems to lack a lanyard hole making it pretty much guaranteed to end up lost.

- How does the steel in the rescue / rescue jnr hold up to salt water
i notice they are intended for rafting also so i'm guessing good but am interested in experiences if any?

- are there any specific small BC style spyderco dive knives i'm looking for a round/chisel point for cutting mono/nets rather than the traditional sharpened porthole remover / crowbar here?

any help mucho appreciated

Cheers

There is a Spyderco Dive Probe on ebay right now.

I've never come across that one before , could you post a link i tried searching ebay but to no avail.

cheers

Cool - Thanks,
Thats looks like a very well thought out piece - I like the intergral linecutter looks like it could be used without opening the blade.

IIRC, the Rescue models have a hollow screw-type clip attachment. You could run paracord or another lanyard through that hole.

I dive with one! :D
