FITZO !!!!!! Help

I can order the liver of Sulphur if needed ; but if liver of Sulphur can be made easily from plain Sulphur, I'd like to hear.

Hey Tracy,

It's used by artists as a patina on Silver. Turns it a deep blue to black, depending on the surface treatment.

OmyGosh!! What day of the 7 are you on now? I have a lot to do!

The American spelling is Sulfur. Sulphur is English, like colour, Aluminium, etc. that probably come from living too close to France, which has probably leaked some genes across the Channel...

The egg yolk blackens silver because it contains sufphur compounds.
Silversmiths make a black form of silver called neillo by burning small pieces of silver, and copper, in liver of sulphur. The resulting slag is crushed and burned several more times, with more sulphur. The final metal is a shiny black silver sulfide that is popular in Indonesian jewelery. The process can kill you if you aren't careful about the wind direction.
