Just a quick note on the 07 Mule Suminagashi Mule.
What a fantastic knife. Im a HUUUGE fan of the Mules and the MT07 is one of my absolute favourites. The Mule series knives are a great size and just right for my use (though I can hardly get myself to use the 07). I finally got scales for the Mule and though the color might not be the right one for the Suminagashi knife, they'll have to do for now.
The slabs are slim Halpern Titanium in Coyote. I bought them a while ago and had a nice chat with the Halper T CS and they were VERY pleasent and helpful. I only now got my hands on the slabs and put them on the Mule. They fit great and are just right for the Mule. Not only is the knife of great quality, but the handle slabs are also quality. The knife now feels incredibly nice to handle and fits my hand just right, The scales are just the right amount of 'skid proof'. Not abrasive, but certainly not too smooth either - they are just right. I will try to get around to have a pair of aluminium honeycomb and black Nanocyl slabs made, but for now these scales will have to do. Mule and Halpern Titanium slabs - a perfect combination (even though the Coyote color might not be perfect for the beautiful lines of the Suminagashi).
The slabs were originally bought for a future Mule purchase, which is very very high on my wish list. I hope, I eventually will be able to get my hands on a second hand Super Blue, which will get to be used, as Im fan of that steel.

Hey, BladeScout! Nice looking Mule you have there.

The Spyderco Forum has a long thread dedicated to "Show Your Mule". Lots and lots of production, semi-custom, and custom scales as well as pimped Mules. Check it out! And enjoy your Mule!
