Summer carry / Winter carry

I got a Sog PentagonII last winter. It was the most blade I could get for the cheapest price. It was perfect, Huge, powerful and fast. Then summer came along, and when I was wearing my shorts and t-shirt it seemed like I had a sword in pocket. So I got a SOG Flash II, It's just as fast but smaller and lighter. Now it's getting colder. So now I clip PentagonII to my cordoroys under my parka and I am as right as rain.

Does anybody else have a summer/winter combo?

HotSwat - Summer and winter carry can be different. If you carry for self defense make sure you practice getting out your preferred carry knife and opening it with gloves on.

This is a good idea! I'm thinking about it too. Probably Benchmade 350/3550 for summer and BM 910 Striker for winter will do.

In winter my G10 knives get carried a lot. The AFCK, Commander, Military, 722 etc.

In summer when I wear shorts the G10 type can be a little heavy so then I grab my Endura, BM 350 or Delica and carry it IWB.

I'm with you BOK. I also tend to carry more small fixed blades in the winter. This is partially due to more places to stowe the blade. I'm not a big neck carry fan so jacket pockets and cargo pant pockets help alot.
