Camillus fans,
The cutlery has a summer maintanence shutdown every year, the first 2 weeks of July. The plant will be closed from now until July 14th. We will have a skeleton staff in answering the phones, but we won't be shiping any knives until we re-open. Most of the folks that work for CAMILLUS take vacation during this period every year.
We do alot of heavy equipement maintanence during this period, like shutting down the heat treat dept., that normally stays up and running 24-7. It takes awhile for that stuff to cool off enough to work on, and quite awhile to get it all back up to operating temps! We also do alot of grinding dept work during this time, since we can shut off all the coolant lines.
I'll be in and out, and check on the forums as I can, but please have patience until Monday the 14th.
