Yesterday was both a very sad and very interesting day for Chattanooga. There was an active shooter situation which created quite a stir. I had to go off on the shoulder when State Troopers coming from Marion Co. across Suck Creek Mountain got in my lane a little as I was going up for a photo shoot. The city is still full of FBI agents, and there is still a feeling of surreality in the air. The craziness that just keeps happening just serves to solidify my convictions that the data base and clase materials I am gathering really is important, and may be very important at some point in the future. So, I thought I would share a few pics from yesterday's wander, before I head out for another long day in the woods, and then a long night in town shooting cityscapes.

The BC Jr was the knife of choice for the day.

I was treated by a visit from a hawk, but at too great a distance to get any decent shots

You guys have fun sharking. Wish I could join you, but I am low on funds, have much work to do, and after yesterday I needs some serious meditation time...

Great pics as always mist. Prayers out to, well heck your whole city, and our whole country as well. I think we all need them as of late.

Yeah, beautiful pictures. Especially of the hawk. My friend saw 2 bald eagles up in Maine that same day. Sorry for the chaos in Chattanooga. That just ain't right.

This happened while I was at work about 35 minutes away from where the shooting occurred. The young Lcpl. from Cobb Co. went to Sprayberry high school which is just down the road from some friends of mine. This hits very close to home for me & a lot of my friends & co-workers.
