ROTC Cadets on their way into the chamber (CS). When I get some more time, I will post some better pics.....
The last picture was a cadet who ran as soon as she removed the mask. I had to chase this girl for a good 100yds. I guess panic will light a fire under you with a quickness. :thumbup:

I told the drill sergeants I had a heart murmur and couldn't risk the chance of a MI! Course, I have since got a snootful of cs on numerous occasions...ah, the good ol' days.
 
I was an sp augmentee and they just happened to call us out on a drill the day the gas bus came through the bomb dump. :D
 
I well remember these exercises.... We had to run through the tear gas "tent" in Germany each year, to see if your gas mask sealed properly. However, each year we had to remove the mask and answer silly questions before being let out.

The brass told us this was to "familiarize" us with the effects of the gas. I can testify that once exposed, one needs no further familiarization.
 
I remember fondly the only time I ever used CS operationally. I would not have believed that so much mucus could pour out of one small Ulsterman.

I thought I made it clear in the past that chops of Marty, while in uniform, where forbidden. Even I won't Photo-chop a man in uniform regardless of country.
 
It's been many years, but the memories are still fresh. I remember thinking to myself "how bad could it be?" and then finding out how bad it could be. :eek:
