Summer Seminars?

This summer I would like to attend a weekend seminar on self-defense with the knife.
I would hope for a course geared to people of various levels of athletic ability and interest: that way, my 16 year old daughter and her fat, bald 55 year old dad could attend together.
I would especially like for this seminar to take place somewhere in the Great Northwest, such as the incredibly beautiful Oregon coast, so I could take my wife and kids and they could play at their stuff while my daughter and I played at ours.

Hmmm.

This probably couldn't happen unless someone qualified to teach such a seminar already lived on the incredibly beautiful Oregon coast and had access to an international knife forum so they could let people know where and when, and maybe even get a feeling for the level of interest and number of people who might attend.
Did I mention the incredibly beautiful, destination resort quality Oregon coast?

Oh well.
One can always hope. ;)

Lol, are you on the chamber of commerce? Seriously I am looking to attend similar seminars this summer as well. Just forget OR and hang out with me in the Midwest. we'll have lots of fun, I promise.

No, I don't belong to the Chamber of Commerce nor do I live on the coast.
I live the exact center, high desert portion of Oregon.

However, a certain well-known moderator does live on the incredibly beautiful Oregon coast.

Actually, we do have a city called Bend on the coast, North Bend, which, of course, appears south of my Bend on the map.
I don't know too much about Missouri even on my quickest days. :)

Well, I guess Greg won't pick up on this.
Seemed like a good idea.

Of course, I would agree with you, Mr. Cox, that a seminar on the Pristine, Land of the Wrathful Sea, Oregon coast, right by where I live would be manna from heaven...who knows if Sierra has seen this post, or if he's been off watching an improvised weapons video.

One can only hope for such a gift...

Alas, so many men are doomed to toil their days, and rest in their nights, relaxing, watching movies, forgetting to return them.;) , who knows if it's even possible.
