:D Hello
Introducing some of my summer works, here are two fixed knives in the organic style.
The first one is collaboration with my friend Cyrille Lievre from Kurios Art. The blade is a 90 mm long suminagashi with an aogami edge.
The second knife is with a blade by renowned French mastersmith Eric Plazen, a 90 mm long sanmai with old iron sides and an edge in SC145 from Achim Wirtz. This knife has been the subject of a complete making off picture story in the French knife magazine La Passion des Couteaux.

Both are with hidden tangs and handles made of carved Chinese bamboo root and ebony guards.

Thanks for watching :)

wow, those are gnarly! I like both of them, and I especially like the wrought iron san mai, it has incredible contrast  Insanely cool carving job on the handles, and the photos are crazy as well! (in a good way of course ;) )

Great job my friend.....I need something like that to go with my folders. ;)

Thanks for your comments :)

Hi Duddley, be patient, i will have nice available pieces soon.

that is some beautiful work.

Both knives are so very appealing to me on so many levels.... exquisite!

The Bamboo root is very exotic and full of detail, and your choice of Ebony and stippling was right on the mark. Love the blade profiles and materials used.
I would be interested in seeing the sheaths also!

Thanks :)
I use ebony because the grain is very thin and as it is black it doesn't get stained by the tint.
I would be nice to make matching bamboo scabbards but unfortunately I haven't any thick enough bamboo left. Still looking for an original idea to make a sheath.

Another great group of knives.

I've seen your work before, and these are another treat for the eyes.
