We had a hard frost this morning-end of garden. We had a wopping 115 days growing season this year.

Oh well it just means elk season is coming on.

:( WE had about 9 inches of snow over the last couple days. It's mostly gone now but ... well... darn!

Rob!

47 Degrees last night.

The trees are already starting to turn up at our elevation.
The deer have shed their velvet.

I love this time of year :)

Steve don't you live in AZ??? Are you up in the mountains? My son lives in Phoenix and when I was talking to him yesterday he said it was in the high 80's. I didn't realize how much of a difference in temp you guys get out there.

I live in the NW corner of New Mexico at 5700' elevation on the Animas river that flows out of the San Juan Mountains. The high country got a good snowstorm and is white down to about 11 to 12 thousand feet. The cold flowed downhill and it was 29° at 5:30 this morning. We usually get about 3 1/2 months. This year from June 4th to September 17th

Yesterday I was up at Purgatory, above Durango delivering a knife and it downright chilly in mid-afternoon.
