Here is a rough and tumble blade from 8670 carbon steel, it is like improved 5160 with better toughness and edge retention.

Here is how I put this one together.
-8670 steel
- 60 Rockwell
- 1" wide
-.201" thick on spine
- 3 15/16" Blade
- OAL 8 3/16"
- Flat grind
- Rounded spine
- Textured black g10 shadow boxed with red g10 liner
-Skull crusher
- 2 stainless steel folder pivots for scale retention with torx bolts

Ready for some hard work
