We had a beautiful sunny day here in KY, so I went out to remove some old bushes from around the house. I have one of those little camp saws, but it didn't see much use, the INFI hacked the bushes out in no time at all.

It was a good day to be out and working in the yard, a little exercise and what fun to unleash the INFI on the trees/bushes.

The forums are a little slow today, so I'm thinking maybe a few others have some tales to tell of INFI unrestrained. ;):D:D:D

Anyone...

What was the knife of choice and what was the victim. ;):D

I used the ZT SH and the cedar bushes are now missing ;):D

Gonna clear out some dead limbs tomorrow, plus thin out some live stuff.

Tool of choice here is my Straight-handled Steel Heart.

If it's like the last time, short order.

Slow day - making 2x2 trellis for tomato plants & putting in a new deadbolt. Used the Assault Shaker for prying out staples holding the bar code plastic tag to the endgrain of the 2x2's & trimming off edge splinters that wanted to run. Used it to pry the painted-in trim ring from the deadbolt hole and cut the new hardware out of the blister pack.

And that ain't contented purring I hear rumbling against my chest this evening. That little snot is laughing under its breath at the wimpy usage I gave it today. Oh well, tomorrow is gun show day, which is always a good day, and the little beggar will get to go along in spite of its uppity attitude. ;)

Hold it, STOP!
If you guys have so much energy and so much INFI, I thinking of throwing a brush clearing party. I'll buy the beer and you guys can come here a clear a few acres for me. It'll be great.:D

Nimrod I'm in.
While I will primarily bring my big "choppers" I think I'll bring my Satin Jack also. Just in case we find a use for her;)

I beat up on my SHBM clip point, one of the frist 300 yesterday. Man I like that knife!:D

It was a nice day yesterday, but I didn't get to use my knives!

These stitches make it hard to hold, let alone, swing my Busses.:(

Ouch! Hope you heal up quickly :)

Yes, it was a great KY day Eric. Perfect for tennis....even more perfect for INFI-beating :D

With my first Busse (an AS) on the way, plz don't tell me they turn on their owners to that degree:D.

That looks painful, I too hope it heals rapidly and that you have enough "beverages" on hand to make the time pass quickly and with less pain.

Did Angry Wife do that to you?

And...can't you chop left handed?

Maybe you should send me those SH Variants for safe keeping?

Are you guys coming to Blade?

I had a cyst on my hand just below my middle finger. It was getting extremely painful to grab anything (such as my Busses, beretta, even a door handle), so I had it removed. I didn't realize they were going to butcher me up;) .

The stitches go up between the fingers and then back up the front of my middle finger, you can't tell in the photo though.

1whobuys, I can chop left handed but Angry Wife had me build her new shelves for her closet. The only thing I like playing with as much as my knives is my router, so I got to do something fun, even if it was inside.:)

Oh, we aren't going to Blade. I bought tickets to the Black Rifle Convention being held by AR15.com in Illinios. I didn't realize they were on the same weekend. So I won't get to touch any new knives and have to beg AW to let me buy them.:(

So when are we all going to Nimrods?:D

R. Markus,
I had a tumor on my pinkie finger. I put up with it for
13 years. I had it removed when it started to effect my
shooting. LOL It also got extremely painful. ;)

Did a bit of yard-work myself a few days back...
Removed some very large bushes, basically trees, with my 9" Bladed Busse Variant: The Missy BoJo! She ate it up! :D Got right down there in the roots & muck & all, cutting, hacking prying, shoveling dirt & earthworms outta the way: right up against the DREADED CONCRETE, too  but the Lass had nary a scuff on her when the wood gasped its last... i STILL haven't had to give her Symmetrically-Zero-Geometry Edge a proper sharpening yet  Notwithstanding a few brushes she had with the Concrete!
She Be Tuf-Stuf  !
She Be INFI. :p

Well..............

1whobuys probably HATES this report but............

The SH BM that I got from him LOVES to go at the overgrown plants, bushes and trees that I have in my backyard. Really hurt to chop up a really old Noni bush (gotta be from Hawaii to understand the importance of that plant), but it took to it like a hot knife to butter. Started with the old "Tiger" machete then thought "Why am I f*cking around". Out came the Busse and.............no more Noni!:D

This sounds a little like my Saturday afternoon and I'll probably end up doing it again this weekend.

Gotta love working in the yard Busse in hand :D:D

Hoss...No wonder she doesn't want to come home, you're taking her out to play all the time;) :D
