I have been wanting to make up some "sunburst" laminate for a while...I finally got my act together and made it happen. Then I put some on my BusSTR. I think I like how it came out, the scales need a bit of fine tuning...tell me what you think.

Thanks,

-Todd

Which colour is accurate, the red or the purple?

It goes from red to two oranges, then two yellows.

The most accurate pic is the one with the thumbstud cutout.

Also, this was the first fitting of the scales, they'll no longer be ragged when I done with it.

I like that one a lot. There's a couple of others you've made recently, green twist and the pale one with colored pieces mixed in, that I like too.

Haven't ordered any yet because I hardly ever use synthetics in a handle and there's all this pretty wood to buy. But you are tempting me...

Thanks!

Perhaps one day I'll come up with one you can't refuse Dan.:)

the grinds on that handle material look furry! can you rouge that out?

This was the initial fit on the scales...it will smooth fine

Todd,do you have any made up to sale? like 3/8" BY 1 3/4" BY 5 OR 6" SCALES---Regards Butch

Thanks Butch!

This is just under 1/4", I'll be happy to make some more if that won't work for you. I'll send you an email later
