got lucky, yesterday was just about perfect as far as weather goes. spent the morning/afternoon on the bike then decided to head up to the lake to cool off. spend the next two hours on a jet ski, stopped just in time to make dinner (T-Bone and asparagus, pasta salad n such) then back on the bike for another 30 min. or so for the trip back home..... now if only i could make every day that "full" id be one happy guy! anybody else get out and enjoy the weather this past weekend??

Yesterday was beautiful. I went for a nice run in the morning before the sun started to beat down too heavily. I'm learning to really enjoy how peaceful running is. I was outside all day, after all that rain there is no way I was going to be inside one day longer.

It's been quite a wet spring and summer in Atlanta. I think we are 15 + inches ahead on rain.
Saturday and Sunday were cloudy and threatened rain both days..... But I couldn't take it any more.

I got the Bike out Saturday morning....no rain....but low clouds and 99.9% humidity kept misting up the glasses.
Fired up the lawn tractor, fired up the four wheeler, fired up ( two batteries dead, one flat tire) two collector cars.
Got everything out of the garage, mowed the grass, cleaned the garage, washed three cars and the four-wheeler.

Grilled some steaks, drank some wine...................crashed.

I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning and getting to work. Lexi perked me back up when she emailed my confirmation on my Battletrough requests :D

that sounds like one heck of a day! and so good new to start out your Monday!

Great time to be outside. Whale watching (orcas) in the San Juan Islands Friday, Sunday hiking on Mt. Baker. Love the Pacific Northwest!

I had a great catch up with an old school friend. He and his daughter came to stay with us. Needless to say lots of gluttony and shenanigans filled our weekend. Pretty good if you ask me :)

Gluttony and Shenanigans....I would say that is the recipe for either a great time or disaster.

I had a wonderful weekend! Did a little spring cleaning and went for a run. Lora I am with you on that one. Running is definitely peaceful.

Sounds like everyone had a great time.

Well maybe no the running part but if that is what you find fun then I guess that is good for you.

I used to run. it was never peaceful... it was mostly tiring and painful..... maybe I was doing it wrong???

I've never thought of running as peaceful either.............@ 250+ it's more of a ground pounding experience
