I do believe this may have been my best work trip ever. On the way home Sunday morning, decided to drive a different way home. Took me longer but was it worth it. Found this unusual custom Schrade and got the owner to accept $50 for it. Got so giddy that I also bought a Case Sod Buster Jr that had customized stag handles as well. Then when I got home, found the Canal Street Stag Wildcat Driller waiting for me. Hope no one minds the pics of non-Schrade knives on here. Didn't figure on spending $100 on the way home but felt like I got my money's worth just for the Schrade alone.
The owner had no clue as to who did the customization. It's a SC524 with what I assume is real jigged bone (the knife is heavy). You can see from the pics and maybe tell me what the handle is made of better than I. I realize there are probably a lot of guys who do customization work. Was wondering if anyone recognized the mark on the backside of the blade as seen on the 3rd pic. Any ideas? Anyways, work was good to me this weekend!
