OK, it's Sunday night, the holidays are over, and most folks have to work tomorrow. So to make the best of a bad situation, here's a novel contest.

I have knife record books printed and bound for myself at Kinko's to keep track of my knife Accumulation. Each page in the book is a blank form for recording a knife's information. Recently I had a couple more books made, including an extra with X number of pages.

To win, post the exact number of knives in your Collection or Accumulation. If your number is the same as the number of pages in the record book, YOU WIN IT.

First person to have the right number wins.
If two people have the correct number, the earliest post wins.
The contest ends Monday January 5th at 8 p.m. New Mexico time.
If no one has the correct number by the deadline, the winner will be whoever has the closest number without going over.

Sorry, but this is open to USA residents only. The cost of foreign shipping would be higher than the book's value. If someone not in the USA wants a copy of the book, send a nice PM and I'll e-mail you a blank page and you can print your own.

40

I wish. I guess technically if I added up all the kitchen knives and utility knives I should be right at that mark though. Hopefully one day I will so it should come in handy at some point.

No one going to try?

I need the dang book to record how many dang knives I have, so that I can enter the dang contest and win the dang book. :)

If I think about it too much, I get dizzy.

So lets just say 100.

My count is 62.
Thanks for the chance in your contest and good luck to all the posters.

Ding, Ding, Ding. We have an early WINNER!

I'll have to say 50. Thanks

Filerunner says he has 50 knives in his collection, and the record book contains exactly 50 pages. Send me your mailing address and I'll get your book out in the mail.

Thanks everyone.

Keep an eye out in the Traditional and Wilderness sections; I'm planning a couple giveaways of surplus duplicate knives from my own collection.

Also, anyone who entered the contest and would like a blank page to make their own book, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you a .doc file.

Heck, if anyone at all wants a blank record page, shoot me a PM or email.

Thanks again Bob for the book. I really need to keep records of my knives, even though I don't have a fancy collection.
