Man, I look forward to every weekend for these shows!
It's the next best thing to going to the art gallery. Actually it's better, since it's ALL knives!

These posts should come with a warning for diabetics. Awesome stuff Dave - many thanks.

Roger

Does one of the Lake knives(the dagger grind) have an aluminum frame?

The contrast between the pins and handle material, rounding of the frame, as well as a slightly different appearance from the blade steel has me wondering.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

It's a real treat to get to see these knives. Thanks.

most wonderful........I like the third one the best, but that knife by Jim certainly brings back fond memories!!!!:D

Hi Dave.
You threw us a curve posting on Sunday rather than Saturday. ;)
I really like the Hardenbroom skinner. Don't recognize the engraver's work and can't make out the name.
A little unique as the engraving does not have a border.

Of course the Lake's are exquisite.

Outstanding knives Dave. Your collection is the stuff of dreams for most of us.. Quality and depth... Thanks for giving us a look every week..

Kevin, I think the engraving might be by Dan Wilkerson, but I'm not certain... Rich

Yes Rich that was my first guess too, and probably right but that background and no border has me wondering?

You must like to play "guess the engraver" as much as I do. :)

Skinners must be the most difficult design of all in that the world is full of mundane examples, and why I consider my fetish for them a curse. Ever so often, however, a trumpet sounds and the clouds part (only on Sundays of course) preparatory to the appearance of a divine skinner, such as this Hardenbroom(k) piece.

I would love to lionize this maker, but I'm ashamed to say that I have no idea who he is. Dave, would you please educate me with a bio sketch.

Thanks,

ken

Great knives as always. Thanks Dave.

Looks to me like the engraver on the skinner was R. Scaggs.
