Good morning, I trust that you are ready for the Sunday Showing?

I was born ready... ;)

It is always with great anticipation that I open your threads, beautiful pics of beautiful knives. Thanks for posting!

Kind regards,

Jos

thanks for the show, I look forward to meeting you!

Exceptional pieces. Tantalizing.

Amazing, how in our world, that clunky Moran fighter and that precise Emmanuel folder are each, in their own way, some of the most sought-after pieces.

Good post.

I have always had a thang for those Moran trailing point hunters. :D

What an amazing crop this weekend, Dave!
See you coming weekend!

All the best,
David Darom (ddd)

That clunky Moran is a Vietnam era M-7. Super rare with aluminum fittings and much quicker in the hand than it looks. n the other hand the M-7's with brass fitiitings are a bit slower.
Dave
Glad that you like them

Dave,

Great knives, especially the Moran Damascus.

All of the older Lime Kiln knives look clunky, especially by todays standards, but they feel good in the hand. Mr. Moran knew the mechanics of a good knife. The M-7 was his best fighter back then. It evolved into the ST-23 and finally the ST-24 which is as good as it gets in my opinion.
