Amazing, how in our world, that clunky Moran fighter and that precise Emmanuel folder are each, in their own way, some of the most sought-after pieces.
That clunky Moran is a Vietnam era M-7. Super rare with aluminum fittings and much quicker in the hand than it looks. n the other hand the M-7's with brass fitiitings are a bit slower.

All of the older Lime Kiln knives look clunky, especially by todays standards, but they feel good in the hand. Mr. Moran knew the mechanics of a good knife. The M-7 was his best fighter back then. It evolved into the ST-23 and finally the ST-24 which is as good as it gets in my opinion.
