Steak choila recipe

Cooking equipment

#1 Sharp Khukuri
#2 Fire
#3 Mixing bowl

Ingredients

2 lb beef steak
1 tsp ground cumin (Girra masala)
2 tsp hot chili powder
3 cloves of garlic
3 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt

Put the ingredients in the bowl and stir thoroughly. Set side for 15 minutes to marinate. Finally add the grilled diced steak with marinate mix it with clean hand. Serve with fire baked potatoes and Yak butter. Enjoy!
 
I'm not sure if I want to buy anything but I think I want to go camping w/ Yangdu!:thumbup:

Yangdu, I'm going to have to try that recipe. I wish I had the $$ to get the YCS, but just paid 1/2 my taxes to the IRS :(

That looks like a GREAT recipe. I'm eager to try it.

Are there some vegetables in the mix, too? And do you cook it after mixing, or is the only cooking the grilling of the steak before you dice it?

Edited, after e-mail from Yangdu: The green vegetables you can see in the mix in the picture are green onions and coriander (= cilantro?). And apparently you don't need to cook it further after mixing the pre-cooked meat into the other ingredients.
