Sunday strip job

Decided to strip two of my bk's today...thought i would share the pics.

Sprayed on the gel.

After about 8 mins, the coating began to break loose.

After 16 mins they were ready to go.

took about 5 mins to scrape it all off.

Next up are bamboo scales for both, then making some kydex sheaths.

Initial buffing of both blades on a wheel with much more buffing ahead, and roughing out of bamboo scales for the 11. More to come tomorrow.

Yes, they will be rounded off more at a later stage, probably contoured near the screw holes. I'm going to throw them in the mill at work tomorrow and dril and counterbore for hardware.
