Sunday with a Leatherman

Spent part of my sunday watching a Forest Service Vid on youtube and they had some good close ups of the Forest Service workers using and carrying a Leatherman. I had a small chore to do in the house, shower drain clogged up so I used my ST 300 to take out the screws in the drain cover, then the pliers to help pull some of the long haired gunk out of the drain. After the clog was cleared used the phillips head again to put the screws back in the drain. Forgot to add that the ST 300 was nasty after this job so I ran water over it, dried it off then soaked it in WD-40 and wiped it off, good as new.

This is a side track from the title, used my Leatherman ST 300 yesterday to do some needed maintenance on my mower.

If any of you guys or gals used a Leatherman today, feel free to add.

I used my leatherman wave today while fishing with my daughters. Used the pliers to unhook some snapper and pompano and used the scissors to cut some fishing line.

Used mine to replace a electric cord on my shop vac,
Then later to BBQ, used the pliers to lift the grate, knife to cut meat.
Fixed my neighbors garage door with it later that afternoon
And used it again to make para cord bracelets at night. Once you start using one
It is hard to stop using it.

I love my Leatherman tools, but I can't see myself using them to get gunk out of the drain. You can only go down an inch or so before they don't fit anymore! It's all about those drain grabber things. Damned if I don't love mine.

Used mine to cut the tip off of a tube caulk softener (no jokes, please) and another tube of white bath caulk. Gotta love the honey do list.

I used my Charge TTi to clean out my shower drain the other day. Unscrewed the drain cover then used the pliers to cut a coat hanger and bend it into a hook to pull out the gunk :)

Lucky for me the gunk was in one big hunk and came out with a grab and pull, I did look at the long plastic things that are made for such a task but did not want to run to lowes and grab one.
