hi,

just wondering if anyone produces a sunfish or canoe pattern with a bail?

i've seen some vintage examples, but i'd like one for edc. right now my Camillus Boy Scout (of course my least expensive slipjoint) is usually at hand because i have to wear a key safe at work, so it's just clip and go. very handy.

take care,

Metis

I have not seen either pattern (modern production) with a bail, but that does not mean there is not one out there. :)

I haven't ever seen a modern canoe or sunfish with a bail. If you want to diversify your bail knife selection, try to find an older Imperial or Camillus 2-blade regular jack. I have one of each (the Camillus is a pre-WWII 4-line, the Imperial is probably also from the 30's) with nice bone handles, carbon steel blades. If you look on ebay you can see one occasionally, and they don't go for much even for a near mint example, usually less than you would pay for a current production Case.

I have a 6120 Peanut Stag with bail.Still think there are some around.Cool little knife.
