I had this outfit put an imitation ivory handle on an Al Mar Alaskan Bowie I bought from a Hollywood actor who has fallen on hard times.
The handle looks nice. They do good work, and this cost me only $90.00. The original Titanwood had cracked.
Do any of you have an Al Mar Alaskan? It is long since discontinued. It was a bowie knife obviously biased toward fighting. It would excel at that, but as a field knife I would feel it far inferior to say, a Cold Steel Trailmaster. The reason is a thin, whippy, hollow ground blade.
