Super Blue Patina Question - pics

So I very much enjoy my Super Blue Delica. I use it often, and have used it many times for food prep. It's cut through a lot of acidic fruits in the kitchen and has developed quite a patina over time. The patina is smooth. There's no pitting at all. Should I be worried that it'll eventually start rusting (I know - patina is rust. I mean really rusting)? I snapped a few pics. What do y'all think?

Patina is not rust. Both rust and patina are forms of oxidation, but patina has a different chemical composition and actually serves to make the surface somewhat more rust resistant. That's why it's encouraged, cultivated, and sometimes even forced, by folks who like carbon blade steels.

Excellent, thanks. Didn't figure it was a problem and I know high carbon steels will do this. But this thing has been a solid companion since I got it, and just wanted to be sure.
