So I know its a high carbon steel and will "rust" but my question is ....
A patina on the knife (looks great) is not structurally damaging the blade right?
So super blue will patina but it wont magically begin to "pit" and lose structural stability?
with the new stretch laminate, is their a chance of rusting deep to the superficial laminated steel?

thanks guys

I have no experience with laminated super blue but with full sb as long as its oiled you're fine. It will patina but I've yet to see actual corrosion. In my opinion it does better than every other carbon steel I've tried in that department.

There's patina, then there's rust. black then red oxides of iron, one is harmful the other is actually benifical in preventing the other. :)
