I haven't been able to find any specifics, and I hate to just assume that it will be since the Endura is. If anyone can offer a definitive answer I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Adam

P.S. Personally, I hope that it is laminated.

I imagine it will be laminated.

I need to get a stretch one of these days. I've been eyeballing it for years now but could never pull the trigger. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a SB one.

I think it'll be interesting to see the thin stocked Ladybug as a laminate.

I don't know, while I have seen the full SB on other models I tend to prefer the two tone the SB creates when it begins to patina on the laminated models.

What're the differences? I'm looking at a stretch, and would love some more options.

Hey moparmatt, where did you get those nice carbon fiber scales on that endura?

What is super blue? Just a different steel? Thank you! I'm looking to buy a ffg endura, but I'm sure the SB variants are sold out by now.

That's a shame. If they were not laminated (like the Caly's weren't), I'd have to get at least an Endura and a Stretch. Believe I'll pass on these.

There are a lot of people that don't really understand steel well at all, yet they are knife nuts. The slightest bit of patina or corrosion makes them feel as if the world is ending before their very eyes. In my mind, laminated is good, it leans less overall maintenance by the ELU and provides a cool aesthetic look.

Aogami Super Blue is a steel. There is tons of information on it if you search the forums. The Internet is also a great repository for as much data on the steel as you can handle.

Hitachi Super Blue has higher carbon, chromium and tungsten content than the other Hitachi Blue steels as well as Hitachi White. It also has the addition of molybdenum and vanadium. Supposedly it's more wear resistant, provides for better edge retention and is a tad bit more corrosion resistant than these other steels.
