Well, three things, They're laminated, They're FFG, and I would take that link down before you get dinged, it's against the rules to post links to active ebay auctions. :)

i've seen an ffg manbug that has only 'super blue' stamped. there's a saber-grind ladybug that also says 'super blue.' then there's a ffg ladybug that's laminated and the picture clearly shows it. then there's a bad picture of a grey stretch whose stamping seems to read only 'super blue.' the second line of stamping (underneath 'spyderco') on laminates is longer than the first line.

I believe what you saw is a pic made by spyderco long time ago before they decided to laminate the blades.

AFAIK the only non-laminate are just the Caly3 and Caly3.5 Superblues.

Right. All the FRN lockbacks are laminated, even the tiny Ladybug.

There were some photos of prototype FRM lockback Super Blue knives that did not show the laminate and only said "super blue" but I believe these were computer models, and did not actually exist.

I remember seeing a photo or two of the prototype dragonfly without the laminate and with the wrong stamp, but I think it was computer generated.
