It's the biggest football game of the year! There are gobs and gobs of Super Bowl themed items in the super markets, the delis are getting ready for all the orders of subs and sides that they will have to fill, Super Bowl commercials have begun to leak into social media, "tailgating" and party plans are beginning to fall into place and there is no shortage of beer in the aisles of every store that sells it. Everyone has their traditions and what they enjoy most about the game. I'm curious what all of you look forward to about this coming weekend.

Every year I go to a party that a few of my friends host, I make a few game themed treats and we drink some beer and watch the game. Out in the garage the guys have the game on in the background as there are games of Beer Pong, Flip Cup, "Cornhole" and other drinking challenges of all sorts being played. Personally, I look forward to all of the commercials. Especially the Budweiser commercials, they're always so cute.

What traditions do you have for the big game?

Biggest game of the year... ?????? Clearly young lady you have not heard of "State of Origin" ....now the biggest game of the year is a game three decider when QLD and NSW are one game up each..... wars have started with less passion involved... ;) ;) :D

Let's see....for me I look forward to parmesan garlic chicken wings (don't knock it till you try it), buffalo chicken dip, deep fried pickles, and pizza rollers. I can't wait! Oh, and GO BRONCOS!!!!! Since my Vikings suck I had to pick a side.

And yes......it is ALL about the food!

Hanging out with friends and NOT watching the game. I refuse to have anything to do with the NFL due to their anti-2nd Amendment stance in recent years. That said, good food is usually found in the form of a BBQ on superbowl weekend in my neck of the woods... Smoked pork shoulder, sausage, chicken, brisket, the works. We use the SB weekend as an excuse to get friends together, and it works! Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

Yup... same here. But I don't usually stop at three beers, unless that is all that there is in the fridge. Reminds me... gotta go to the store!

There will be more than three for sure. The first three are just to get me through to the first commercials.

Sounds good to me. If I leave now, should be able to get there in time.

Beer, beer, beer, and chips. Go Seahawks.

 I will be getting my nourishment from a new bottle of Crown Royal Reserve. The wife and I are going to my best friends house for the game.
I have been a Seahawk fan since the first year. I don't live far from Seattle, about 300 miles, and other than the Seattle Mariners, and Portland Trailblazers,
that is all we have in this area... It's nice to finally see them have a great year. They usually suck :D

Re: the commercials, there is a Budweiser commercial that has some yellow Lab puppies in it, and one of the 3 month old puppies is from the same town I live in.
I thought it was kinda cool. Our yellow lab is 9 months old, and is so wound up, there is no way he could do a commercial :D
