Does the super commander have a chisel grind or a v grind? I've heard both. I'd like to pick one up but am not crazy about chisel grinds.

No, but it's really not a problem. I have the Ubr and it is easy to touch up on a sharpmaker or Spyderco's ceramic stone that looks like a duck's foot (Golden stone, I believe it's called). Slices food/ meat, cardboard, wood, etc just fine...

Any good knife shop can reprofile the edge, sharpening it on both sides. Then you can easily maintain it with your SM.

I did that with a CQC8 that I made to look like a Journeyman by belt-sanding off the hump then redressing the entire spine on a stone.
