I am calling this one the Super Companion because it is larger than normal, and thicker stock than normal. :)

Stock thickness is - 7/32" (1/32" shy of 1/4")

The handle is also a little thinner since the stock is thicker and I wanted to see how that worked out.

1/8" Black G-10 with Red liners makes the scales just shy of 3/16" material.

Overall Knief is 9 1/2" with a 4 1/4" blade:thumbup:

Oh - and since this is the first of its kind, I am snagging this one fellas :)

That is a knife I would be proud to own. It actually fits perfectly into my needs if you change your mind and decide to get rid of it... ;)

Great design, great craftsmanship...you might want to keep that in your lineup (of companions)*.

Great looking blade there Brian ! I'll bet it's a fistfull of a knife with thick stock like that. :)
 
nice looking knife, i very nice hamon.

the red/black handle looks really sharp too. in the photos it looks like it has a tint of green in the black, but it might just be lighting or my monitor settings
 
well fellas - Made a hard decision. This one will be availiable at BLADE 2008

I Am keeping a no frills version and let this one go to a loving home
 
LOVE that one!!! Just like your normal Companion models. Let us know how long this one lasts at Blade '08. :D
