So I got a super 7 in that I had to sterilize and zero grind. A few interesting points... 1. the back wasn't perfectly flat, it curved in toward the tip and there were some deeper grind lines under the paint, looked like it was done on a disc sander probably? Secondly the hand sanding the flats revealed some pitting underneath the paint that it had covered up... Wasn't a whole lot that could be done about that other than keep grinding, but you don't wanna remove too much metal from the flats as it can start messing w/ pivot action. You can see it just under the thumb disc on in two spots on the second picture, and then on the other side same area kinda in the last pic. Any of you guys had similar on yours? Anyway, turned out great!

Thanks Josh, the blade's looking great! I'll be making some aluminum scales for this once I get the blade back and I'll be sure to send them to you for a cerakote coating.

Wow... That looks amazing. Can't wait to see the whole knife!
