Super CQC 7 Prices

The best deal I've found so far on a Super CQC 7 has been at New Graham knives, they have it for $165. I was wondering if you guys have seen them anywhere else a little cheaper? I'm only asking because I've seen the regular 7 for $120, and I'm wondering if the extra half inch on the blade is worth $40.

One more question: Is the Super a completely different knife, specifically the handle size, or did they just put a bigger blade on the normally oversized 7 handle?

IIRC the handle is a little larger.

$165 aint bad for a super '7 imho, i doubt ya will find one much cheaper & NGK is great to deal with.

as far as being worth the extra money i suppose that depends on how bad ya want one, i would rather have a I&I tanto than the super '7 myself, imho its a better knife but they are hard to find and pricey when ya find one. i like the handle on the I&I better, the blade is the same (4"). the I&I has a handle like the viper, really a cool knife, i got 2 a few yrs back before they got expensive.

the '7 is a good knife though as all EKI's are.
 
I scoured the internet and only found them more expensive, so I ordered one from New Graham. Now I just need to order a regular CQC-7 that I'll be more comfortable beating up, or trying to...
 
I just got a Super 7... And it is bigger than the regular one, much more so than I originally thought. I actually like it a lot.

I read this too late, I do have a place that could have saved you about $20. However New Graham are good people, and glad they got your money.
 
Can I ask where you found it for 145? Also, do you know the cheapest place to get a regular cqc-7?
 
I'm ordering a second CQC-7. To answer my original question....The Super is definately worth the extra $40.

The regular '7 doesn't have the little cuts in the handle that line up with those on the back of the blade, it also has cuts in the back of the handle. The regular 7 blade is about half as wide and feels like a toothpick compared to the Super. The Super just shows little touches that set it above the rest.
