I just got mine today. I absolutely love it. Best knife I own now! It is not too big. It is about the same size as the old BM 975 but heftier. Rides well in the pocket withought causing discomfort due to its size too. Go and get one while the getting is good. I may get another one just in case these sell out fast.
 
Like the size but~ my G1o handle material over laps the ti liner all the way around the knife. I called EK and they said it was done like that on purpose.

It's only a fingernail width overhang. Did anyone else notice this? None of my
other EK's have it so I thought it was a defect . :confused:
 
Mine is the same too. Doesn't bother me in the least. My other Emersons didn't have that, but you know designs do change. I love this knife either way. I won't leave home without it. :D

It is not a defect but was made to increase grip with the slight edge.

I really like the knife too! Awesome blade, I already put a EK skull clip on it
and tad ti skull lanyard. :D
 
I got my super 7 two days ago and sent it back yesterday for a commander it just didn't feel right and the blade had too much play.I've heard of adjusting the ball detent but i don't know what that is.
 
hey 88M did ya try tightening the pivot?? tightening it will stop blade play (usually), i dont know what ya mean by adjusting the ball detent myself??

i got mine and the blade is rock solid, the lockup was perfect and no play in any direction and the liner has alot of room for wear
