anyone seen the new super CQC8 thats supposed to be coming out in the next 2-3 weeks??

possibly the longest blade EKI folder FWIW.

am gonn have to get one of these.

will post a pic when i see one to post.
 
Not seen any pics yet but it sure sounds intertesting.
Its going to be an absolute beast of a knife.
 
I dont know if any EKI is more beasting than a full Ti, Krein ground, frame lock Persian. :eek::D

The super 8 is going to be a big ass, sweet knife though.
 
There is one on ebay and it looks like a... CQC-8! After i got the Comrade, I now am addicted, the Super 8 will be great.

I clocked that Proto. Super 8 on the bay.
It does look pretty sweet but im not sure if im willing to shell out $1500 for it though.
 
$1500 is kinda high for emerson customs right now imho, ya never know the guy might get it though.

most of the bolstered waved customs i see have been more in the $1200 range lately and some even less than that,
 
I can't wait for the production model. Hopefully they will be available at SHOT.
 
Now whoever gets one of these can tell their friends "I own a Super 8 and I keep it in my pocket." Then look for the confused expression on their faces. ;)
 
imho he will never get $1500 for a non bolstered G10 custom, that knife is worth MAYBE $1000 tops, i wish him luck though.

the lock up does look a little funky but he might have opened the knife slowly/gently and the lock didnt but start to engage, if opened in the normal way it might be just right, maybe, possibly lol.
 
Well it does include free shipping.:D I love my CQ8 but I wouldn't spend that much more for a slightly longer but similar blade. But to each his own!!
 
OHHHHHHH!!!!! now i'm gonna have to get an emerson-love the wave feature
i just wish it was a little better steel, but a super 8 is getting me hot and steamy-

I'm getting a CQC-8 for myself when it comes out from production!
Seems a very promising knife.
 
There is a fella on there that has a few choice EKI's up for sale, one is a proto super Raven, hand ground proto. A bit rich for my blood though. keepem sharp
 
After handling the Super 8 at SHOT I can't wait for the production models to be available. Damn nice knife but it is huge.
 
I am definately looking forward to this ONE! I think frame locking this big boy would put it as one of the best yet! We shall soon find out!:D
