I can't quite afford a larger busse and a sebenza is not really what I am going for but If you had to choose a knife that that would stay sharp cutting and skinning a deer and then hold up making a fire to cook it while being somewhat corrosion resistant what would you choose? in other words somewhat if a super knife that will do many things, I am thinking maybe the fallkniven a1? although there is a lot of room from 160-300 for something better.

The same with a folder, a good semi large folder that will stay sharp a long time in the 250-300 price range.

A1 would be a good choice but somewhat big unless you are batonning for kindling.

I'd say Benchmade, Spyderco and Kershaw should be able to cover your folder needs.

I'd say get a Benchmade 710 AND a ESEE 6 for around $300.00, corrosion hasn't been much of a problem with mine.

Spyderco Military (regular s30v version is good enough).
or a ZT301

Most ESEE knives are wonderful.

Fallkniven S1 or Swamprat Ratmandu for the fixed blade. The S1 would be better at game processing due to the lack of a choil.

Great bulletproof folder is the ZT 0300 or 0301. S30V steel takes and holds a great edge, and the knife is built like a tank. ZT 0200 is nearly if not as strong and is a little less expensive.
