Just got an email from a site that likes to Drop things. Super Gold Delica and Endura coming for sale next month, expected to ship in October.

Which website is that? I couldn’t find the knife listed, but I did find out that supergold is actually the pm steel version of vg-10. I wonder if they are doing the stretch and dragonfly as well?

SG2 steel, you’ll see it used as a premium steel in many Japanese kitchen knives
 
I have a Fallkniven F1 in 3G which I believe is a similar steel. It seems to be an “upgrade” on Vg-10 in terms of edge retention. My Fallkniven takes a razor edge easily. I am in on these, they are cool.
 
dont see the endura listed...delica looks good but too small for me.
 
@Sal Glesser any idea what sort of hardness we're looking at for these? I've heard tale of SG2 being used up in ZDP-189 territory. 63-64hrc.

Surprised more people arent talking about this. Seems like a pretty sweet steel and a unique look
 
I personally don't care about the look, especially as I would only get one as a user. That said, I am not sure I will bite at all. I already have an Endura in ZDP-189. I also have other Spydercos in Maxamet, M4, K390, H1, Cruwear, CTS-20CP, Super Blue, and a few others. I just don't know what this would add to the stable besides something new, which really isn't enough for me at this point.

Pretty much my feelings too. I was excited about this at first (except the gold lock bar & black handle) but now I'm starting to wonder if I really want this one. I already have so many different steels it's getting a bit silly. Plus I have 3 of the V-Toku knives on pre-order. I guess I need to think on this.

EDIT: Well...I ended up letting my curiosity get the best of me. SG2 Delica is on order. Hope it's worth the price of admission.
