Plow blades are very good steel...nice!

I'm broke of course...

crazy! that vim is a mad scientist! artist, really, but that's just a detail...awesome regardless.

If this Bowie can 'put it down' anything close to my Munk Chunk Cleaver... then she will be a total monster... My HI cleaver is an animal... If i had the funds i would seriously consider this Bowie...

Can't . . . Resist . . . Any . . . Longer...

That is one beautiful piece of a bulldozer.
My wife and I both like it a lot and we will give it to each other for our 25th wedding anniversary which is tomorrow. (Good excuse anyway:D )

Super Ak Bowie found a nice home

Lloyd, that knife will make a great anniversary cake server- who would refuse a piece? :D

Post pix pls

Mike, no talk of cake, but that knife could come in handy carving up a roast beast.

The Super AK Bowie arrived yesterday. VERY VERY NICE!!! A lot of attention went into the details on this piece. The smooth, even taper of the metal as it transitions from blade to tang is impressive. I don't know what U.S. purple heart wood is, but it is beautiful and this handle is flawless and fits my hand well. This knife surprised me by how well it balances and feels much lighter than its 41 ounce weight - I had to weigh it to make sure it wasn't a typo and yep 41.6 ounces;) . Overall, Vim did a great job on this one. I will try to get some pictures posted soon.

Yangdu also included a neem wood 18" Sirupati by Santosh as a gift for our 25th wedding anniversary - THANKS YANGDU:D . I had also gotten a little Kobra by Santosh because the picture showed some really nice grain to the wood. Santosh did an excellent job on both these blades and chose really nice wood for the handles. By what I've seen so far, I think this new kami's work is underpriced for its quality. I'll try to work up some pictures of his pieces also.

I really love this place!
