Super karambit folder question.

I'm curious as to whether or not there is a pronounced difference in the curvature of the blades between the standard combat k-bit folder and the Super folder. I want to buy the Super version and have owned a few Combats, but never handled the Super and only have photos to go on.. Does it make any pragmatic or aesthetic difference, or is it even that noticeable to the owners reading this? Input appreciated.

To me there is a difference. The combat karambit has a more pronounced curve and it seems to be a little less on the super karambit. I like them both but the super karambit feels better to most with larger hands. The combat karambit feels better in my hand.

The blade on the super does have a more subtle curve and is obviously longer. There
really isn't much between them as far as use would go but the combat kerambit is just
a bit more compact and IMO more in line with what kerambits are about.

The blade is not long enough to make any real difference, (it's about an inch). It's not like a small skinner Vs a big Bowie :p
When I was training In Asia I was always tought the smaller the blade the better with Kerambits as it's a sneaky weapon ;)

I've noticed most karambit users would tend to say the combat karambit just feels better and works better for them as opposed to the super karambit.

The ring hole diameter is the only real issue some people have with the Emerson combat karambit because the diameter is a little small.

I have no problem with the ring diameter myself but could see where larger fingers would not work well.

I had a Super Karambit, and now I have a Combat Karambit.
I liked the Super Karambit better, due to size of ring hole AND length of handle. I regret getting rid of it a bit now.:(
The extra bit of blade wasn't a bad thing either.
