Super Psyched My First Becker Is On It's Way

I ordered my first becker a few days ago, bk2, I must say after cruising the forum a bit, I'm pretty confidant that I'm going to love it. I already have a thigh rig at the ready and some modding ideas I plan on executing. Pics will soon follow as soon as I receive it in the mail and pimp it a bit :p
 
BK2 is a fine choice. Every other knife will look tiny and weak next to it for awhile though, so be ready for that.

Be careful though, the BK2 is a gateway knife. It will lead to a BK11 or BK14 so that you always have one with you. Then you will "need" a BK9 and before you know it you are sitting at a campsite in a haze holding a BK4 in one hand and a BK3 in the other wondering what the heck happened. If I have seen it once, I have seen it a hundred times.:D

LOL you must be psychic! I'm already eyeing a bk9 on ebay that comes with a remora
 
The BK-2 was my first Becker..................I now own 8 :eek: I may have a problem. Congrats on the campanion.
 
There's something special about the first time you hold your first BK-2 in your hand. Remember to toss up some pics with your rig when you get it!

Congrats. Just purchased another 2 yesterday. Looking forward to getting it.
 
oh no...you did it now... the 2 was my first and still is my favorite blade. i said no more for a long while and just today i picked up a very reasonably priced 5 from the exchange and a great used condition Camillus 11 from flea bay. I wish you luck. you may want to consider working some OT or getting a 2nd job :) Welcome!

Is there a Becker rehab facility? lol I already know from experience that this won'y be my last Becker, when I find a good knife I usually stay loyal to that brand, bankruptcy here I come! :P
 
I've got a BK2 incoming as well. it'll be Becker #3 for me now. Seems like just last month I got my first one...oh wait, it was.

seriously! one good thing i keep telling myself is look how many Beckers you can buy for the cost of one Busse...
 
Just opened up my first Becker. Got the BK14. Can't wait to start modding. Might have to order another tonight as well!
 
This is the thigh rig I plan on using for my bk2, and I already plan on making some "moocarta" scales for it uploadfromtaptalk1346211273190.jpg
 
hopefully by this time tomorrow I'll have my rig set up and ready to go, with lots of photos of course :P
 
Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the Becker forum! I'm sure the waiting is killing you...as it should be. The BK2 is a phenomenal blade.
