Well, I was determined to get one of the original Super Salyans the moment I knew about them. Then, out of the blue, while I was trying to buy some other older Khuks from one of our more senior members I got my chance. BUT I DIDN'T HAVE THE MONEY!:grumpy: Well, after some interchanges, I was able to work this out and finally own one of the original six Super Salyans. The best part is this one is one of the few that remain unaltered. No one tried to make the handle smaller for their puny human hands. No one did anything to it to lighten it up because they couldn't handle the weight. It is as it left Shop One, those years past.
I could not be happier. So here is are a few comparison pix with my also recently bought Uncle Bill Memorial Salyan.
The deeper I delve into the archives, the more of these oddities I seek. I hope to have one of the more complete Himalayan Imports Museums that exist. Of course this is all as things come up and I am able to afford them. I have also found that some folks think that because I have this fever, I will pay any price. This is not the case. I am no fool and only have so much to spend each month. So withing my limits and avoiding the gougers, I will see what I can do. Then, come the Rapture, I guess someone can break into my house and have what I have amassed as it will no longer matter. Maranatha!

I will leave it to you to guess which is which.
even the Karda and Chakmak are nice and big!
The spine is a real monster to behold
now a couple in hand...
