I wanted to see if I could fit my family into my super shelter so off we went.
This was my family's first super shelter camp.
I had to make some Mors cloths pins to hold the ends of the shelter closed.

The only issue on the trip was that I took my axe inside the shelter and it was on the ground closest to the fire. The axe got so hot to hot to touch that it melted the plastic window the hole length of the axe handle. Next time I will place a log on the outside to stop this from happening again,

Re "Mors clothes pins": Here's a funny thing. There is a Chinese company names MORS that export sclothes pins.

But few Chinese companies named Kochanski.

That is the first family super shelter I have seen. Looks like a great time and as always your firecraft is fun to watch

The next family trip will be back in the Kifaru..more space but not as warm.
Thanks man

Damn you and that Wildertool! :)

Seriously man, really enjoy these threads, and I think it's fantastic you take your kids. Looks like a great time for everyone.

Looks cold. My wife would be having a fit exposing the young kids to this kind of weather. Hope you had a good time. Spam on a stick, yeah!

Awesome job! Looks like a blast. My kids love to go camping and do outdoor stuff. Not sure if they'd come out camping for the night in that cold of snowy weather, but honestly I've never asked them to hahaha. Good job on the dad work!

My kid would be fine, and Wife would love it. But I wouldn't expose myself to that kind of weather.
