Super Tour of MAD DOG Labs

Thats me, I finally came to my senses about McClung and the magnitude of my past wrongdoings caused such a feeling of guilt that it shattered my fragile ego and splintered my personality.

I went there out of couriosity...reeaally ssslloooowww, site. Loading images was kind of like watching paint dry at the dog pound.

I don't own a Mag Dog in my collection, but I would like to add at least one someday (after purchase of about a couple dozen other must-have knives). It may be a knife I intentionally try to break (because of outstanding claimed strength limits).

Great work! Very thorough and clear photos. I am not a Mad Dog knives fan, but I was looking at Tim's site the other day and it was very well done.

One thing I noticed is that the "standard issue" notch that goes onto the tang of all the knives that fail heat treat is missing from the one in the ohoto tour. Does that mean anything?

That's because the site is hosted in Taiwan, I'd guess. Good pics, and interesting views of the G10 being sculptured for the handles.

Thank guys for the kind words. Joe Chen and I put the tour together to show the labor intensive process of making a hand made knife. I'm glad you like it.

Spark,

I found the pictures good as well. The documentation of knife making was (as well as knife destructing) well done.

Nicely Done! Great pics, nice sequence, and descriptions of the process, quite helpful. Looking forward to seeing additional excerpts to the site.

Good job.

Take care,
Tom
