I want to wish all the ladies a Happy Mother’s Day!

As a way to benefit SuperBen and say thanks to all the mothers for the hard work of caring for their families, I am offering up a special Hiking Buddy that would make a great Mother’s Day gift to one lucky lady (hint hint guys.) It is Fiddle-textured CPM 154 with Shadetree “Bacon” burlap that I would describe as a pink or dusty rose color. As far as I know, this is the only Fiddleback knife ever made with this color burlap.

Here are the specifics on the knife from the original FF ad:

2014 1017 08 - Hiking Buddy with Bacon burlap from Shadetree over black with white pinstripes, SFT Tang, convex on 5/32” CPM 154 stainless steel - $325

Wow, that was quick. Thank you so much Peter on behalf of Ben and the Ruppe family. I am sure that it will warm Ben's mom's heart to see another bump in his treatment fund on Mother's Day.

I was so excited to see this post come up that I forgot to acknowledge your generosity and kind spirit for donating the proceeds of this sale to SuperBen......once I receive confirmation from you I will make payment and chip in an additional contribution in honor of Ben's loving Mother on Mother's Day.

Peter,

That was extra nice of you to kick in some extra $$$ on top of the knife price for Ben and his mom. I reviewed all of the contributions today that have been made to Ben from the start and I was blown away that the majority of them came from generous people on this forum. You are an awesome example of that generosity my friend!

You are the one we owe the thanks to. If not for you, this forum and the relationships established here would not exist. If not for you, we would not know Ben's story. Your ongoing donations to his cause set a great example of how we should care for others in need. You are a good man Andy and you have my respect.
