I got mine in yesterday and was using it to chop some carrots, celery, and onions. After I was finished, I wiped the blade dry as I do with all my knives. However I noticed a streak that wasn't there before 2 1/2" down the blade and 1/4" up the blade from the edge. It looked like when oil gets on your driveway, or Kershaw's rainbow pattern. I wiped it down with a sponge and dried it again, but it was still there. I just re-oiled the blade and it goes back to normal.
Question: Is this something to be worried about, or is it just the nature of the steel?
