Superblue delica/endura patina pics

I just ordered the super blue delica and was hoping to see some pics of this knife after a patina has been formed. I saw a couple on a google search that looked pretty nice but hopefully some of you have some better examples you can post.

Owners and users thoughts on the knife are welcome too. It will take me almost a month to get it down here so I'm going to need plenty of information to entertain myself with while I'm waiting! ;)

Thanks,

Lance

Lol, I think so. Oops. Maybe a mod will happen along and help a brother out. This was intended for the spyderco forum obviously. :)

I was wondering if all of the sb models are laminated.

Hey, to the best of my knowledge, the only full super blue blades have been on the caly knives. The endura and delica, (and I believe the upcoming stretch and dragonfly) are all laminated.

Come on, nobody has any pics or thoughts on their bs delica/endura?

I would, but I sent mine in for some adjustments and they replaced it. Now I get to develop the patina again, and the second example has more exposed Super Blue, so it will look cooler.

Thanks! I'm looking forward to them, and would also like to see pictures/hear thoughts.

Product wise not a Delica, but same laminated steel in the Endura so as you see, most beautiful patina in my opinion. I do have a SB Delica but have not got around to putting a patina on it or I may just leave it alone.

Looks different in different light. Sometimes it's actually hard to see clearly, but this shot picked it up nicely. Just normal use, though cutting some ham helped.

Those are beautiful. How did you go about getting that?

Don’t tell anyone, but my scientific formula is: I mixed the juice of a jar of yellow peppers after I finished them with the juice left over from a jar of dill pickles. I then got a paper towel soaking wet in the special formula and wrapped it around the blade until I awarded myself the gold medal in the patina event.
Glad you like it. :)

I put my Caly 3 into a jar of salsa. I figured a mix of different acidic fruits n' veggies would give it a nice mottled look...worked out pretty well.
