welcome to the forums, a purna dui chirra is about as good as it gets for a first knife, I must agree !

Unfortunately someone else beat me to it.

There has been a bunch of Purna stuff lately. I think they are working him overtime lol. The forum has been abuzz about his talents for the past few months.

I am sure there will be another sooner rather than later. Keep an eye out today and tomorrow. Auntie has a habit of offering very popular items the next day if she has stock and sees a ton of interest. You might luck out today. I have anxiously been awaiting a Samsher... I will have one!

I hear you there brother! Also hoping that there's more cherokee rose bowies in the future.

I know for a fact that you will see more Cherokee Roses. I also need one and inquired not to long ago. I guess we might see some in the next shipment. I am also awaiting the holy grail of HI khuks... The Hanshee!

There was a HI hanshee actually available locally on one of my firearm swap and sell pages for 100 dollars, had the acabbard karda chakmak and everything, and he blade looked like new. It was gone before I could send a message. Any Mainer forumites score a cheap hanshee?

lol I am still planning on a special order hanshee -- have been for two years!

Welcome and congrats! You sure picked a good one to start off with:thumbup:

A beauty for a first HI blade!

Warm welcome to HI and blade forum, Steven 65

Welcome to Blade Forums and HI! A Purna Dui Chirra is a heck of a first knife!

Thank you all for the kind words. I love big knives and particularly Khukuri's. I have a number of them which I have purchased locally.

I have been after a pattern like this one for ages but every time Auntie posts something it is usually gone in minutes. This time I got lucky. Hopefully the first of many.......:)
