As part of compiling a supplier's list, this is a post just for supply houses. I will later post for steel, wood, tools, etc.

Below is a list of knifemaker's supply houses that I have. Does anyone have any to add? Keep in mind that all these in the US. If there are any that need to be added outside the US, please let me know. One other thing, all of these have web-sites, that is not a necessity for this list.

Sheffields is one of the best suppliers for just about everything knife related. I don't know of a webpage though. Atlanta cutlery and UAI carry some of each others supplies. www.atlantacutlery.com and www.uai.org.

Just out of curiosity, is this list just an adjunct to the links page here, or a different resource for the comunity?

This will become another "tool" for the bladeforum community. I am in the process of compiling a "master list" and any additional information is appreciated. At this point, I am still in the initial stages. This is the first of a series of posts.
